Post Mortem is an ambient-noise-project of the Dutch artist Jan Kees Helms.
In 1987 he starts this musical project and was inspired by The Haters. He just wanted to make noise with the energy of hc-punk. In 1992 Post Mortem ended a silent death.
In 2009 Jan Kees Helmse restarts the project to make compositions with fieldrecordings, sounds of internet, machines, tapes and effect pedals .
